"If you want good sound especially when watching movies you must have a center speaker. This one was the right size and of good enough quality to match the rest of my system. Before we had only left, right, and a sub woofer. So much sound is engineered to come from the center, like dialogue, that without that speaker you are missing a lot and sometimes can't make out what people are saying.
